How and at what age did you start with sport shooting and competing in the IPSC?
A quarter of a century ago, I began target shooting with my father and brother. The IPSC came a few years later and, at the age of 15, I started competing.
What do you like best about IPSC?
Shooting “on the edge” with maximum speed and accuracy. I also enjoy the diversity of this discipline and the development of the sport in general.
Why did you choose CZ?
I started shooting the CZ 75 pistol when I was 15, and later moved on to the Tactical Sport. Everything else I saw or tried seemed like a dead end.
How and why did you join the CZ Shooting Team?
The door to the team was opened when I won the Junior gold medal at the 2004 European Championship and one year later at the World Championship in Ecuador. Besides shooting, I enjoy contributing to the development and improvement of CZ firearms.
How do you prepare for a competition?
Mainly by shooting and dry training, but there is also a lot of physical and technical preparation for both me and my equipment.
What is the best advice you were ever given?
Shoot A’s!
What do you consider to be your greatest achievements in IPSC?
In addition to the junior achievements mentioned before, I won two bronze medals at the 2016 and 2019 European Championship, as well as Australian-Asian medals and first place in several Extreme Euro Open events.
How would you rate your weapon?
I would love learning to shoot my gun to its full potential.
