The CZ GL grenade launcher can safely fire a wide variety of modern 40×46 NATO grenades.

Simple Construction

The CZ GL grenade launcher uses a proven platform with a side swivel barrel. The built-in extractor allows for easy extraction of spent cartridges.

Ambidextrous Controls

Loading is possible from the left or right side, according to the needs of the shooter. Ambidextrous manual safeties feature 60° of travel.

Extreme Durability

The CZ GL grenade launcher successfully passed the stress test and durability test, which requires the firing of 2,000 rounds. It also successfully passed the NATO AC 225/D14 drop test.

Hybrid double-layer barrel

The CZ GL grenade launcher features a monolithic barrel made of EN AW 7075 aluminum alloy that is wrapped in a highly durable polymer casing. As a result, it has a long service life and extreme resistance to adverse conditions.

Maximum safety

In addition to the ambidextrous manual safety, the CZ GL grenade launcher is equipped with an automatic barrel lock safety that prevents firing if the barrel is not fully locked in place. This status is simultaneously confirmed by an unlocked barrel indicator. Another indicator informs the user if a cartridge is in the chamber.

Safety

The trigger safety prevents unintentional trigger pulls and contributes to a high level of fall safety.

DAO trigger mechanism

The CZ GL double-action only trigger mechanism increases user safety and allows for immediate reset of the trigger in case of a misfire.

The trigger mechanism has been designed so it operates like a double-stage.

Mounting interface

The STANAG 4696 rail allows for tool-free, quick-release underbarrel mounting on a wide variety of modern firearms or on a proprietary carrier when used as a stand-alone grenade launcher.

Telescopic stock

The stock on the CZ GL grenade launcher carrier is extendable to four positions. A thick rubber butt pad contributes to shooting comfort.

Versions

There is a underbarrel version for mounting on individual firearms or a stand-alone grenade launcher with a retractable stock and iron sights. The proprietary carrier for the CZ GL features QD attachment points for easy attachment of a sling.
