A Champion Who Respects the Firearm

Jiri Prochazka (born October 14, 1992, Hosteradice, Czech Republic) is a professional fighter and one of the most prominent figures in the world of MMA. Outside the cage, he is also a long-time enthusiast of sport shooting and an active user of firearms – especially CZ sport pistols.

His approach to shooting reflects the same principles that help him reach peak performance in the ring: respect, discipline, focus, and mental resilience. These are the very qualities that define a responsible firearm owner.

In 2025, Jiri became a CZ ambassador as part of an awareness campaign promoting the safe and responsible use of firearms. He embraced the role with full commitment – beyond public appearances, he also trained at the EG-CZ Academy in Quimper, France, where he refined his shooting skills under the guidance of Eric Grauffel, following IPSC rules.

For Jiri, the shooting range is a place to apply and further develop both his physical and mental conditioning. Sport shooting is a natural extension of his training regimen and a way to cultivate balance, focus, and respect.

As a CZ ambassador, he helps spread awareness both within the shooting community and among the general public. He brings a unique perspective of a top-level athlete who understands what true mastery means – whether in the arena or on the range.
